About
Theresa graduated with a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), and is a licensed Practitioner of Oriental Medicine (LOM) in Pennsylvania under the Board of Medicine and nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Masters Of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) through an intensive 4-year program at the school of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in New York City (PCOM-NY). She continued her studies and received her doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Pacific College of Health and Science.
Dr. Hoang's training included acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, integrative pain management using TCM and other healing modalities, integrative diagnosis, evidence based research, clinical internships, nutrition and lifestyle education. Theresa has over 10 years of clinical experience. She has been seeing patients with a range of conditions and enjoys treating the young and wise alike.
Additionally, she has over 19 years of practice as an Occupational Therapist in Rehabilitation Medicine. Her experience and training complement the use of Acupuncture and other TCM modalities in treatment of the whole person: mind, body and spirit.
She is dedicated to providing patients with an individualized, caring, compassionate treatment to enhance their quality of life.
